"The 2009 discourse mirrors the 2008 in that it is based on Sri Paul Twitchell’s great book, Stranger by the River.  A chapter from that book is selected along with a quote and then a page of supporting material from Peddar Zaskq follows.  A second quote ensues with new supporting material from DapRen.

"Recent legal circumstances have precluded us from using very much of Sri Darwin Gross' writings.  However,this has turned out to be a blessing for a all concerned as both DapRen and Peddar Zaskq have dictated new material that will give some new insights into these blessed Dhunami Teachings. 

"I offer some additional comments at the end of each chapter.  Reading the short corresponding chapter from Stranger by the River, prior to getting into the discourse chapter each month, may be helpful in your study and contemplation of the material presented here."

About your Annual Discourse Subscription
  • The Master's annual discourse provides an outer as well as an inner link to the Living Master of the Time.  Your subscription creates a mutual responsibility for both parties.  The chela’s job is to assist the Living Master in getting out the message of the Dhunami teachings to the new or returning person in the manner of their own choosing.  The Master’s job is to assist the initiate to reach into and become established on the Soul plane and to inwardly guide those who wish to go beyond this area into God realization. 

  • Regular annual discourse subscription provides eligibility for initiation.  After two consecutive years of discourse subscription, the chela may be eligible for the Light & Sound initiation.  The Soul initiation is generally available three to five years following the Light & Sound initiation.  Neither the Light & Sound nor the Soul initiation may be requested at this time.  This is a slightly new “wrinkle” that has been related to me by the Dhunami Hierarchy.  Further explanation will be made as needed.  Individuals will be notified through the office of the Living Master  when any Initiation is available to them.

  • The spiritual vibration of each word in the discourse, and the spiritual rhythm created by their combining, flows from the highest source, the SUGMAD.  From there, it moves through its vehicle, the Mahanta consciousness and then out into the world through the physical representation of the Living Master.  These words are tiny golden steps leading to a wealth of spiritual experience that is unavailable anywhere else.  This is known as the royal highway. 

  • The annual discourse creates an opportunity to establish and develop one’s spiritual foundation.  If we will carefully and patiently study each of these precious little building blocks, and align them with our inner and outer selves, we will have an unshakeable spiritual foundation that will stand up to any obstacle or test that may come our way.  Faith, stamina, fortitude, wisdom, spiritual experience and blessed inner unfolding are the beneficial results of the study and practical application of the concepts presented in the Master's annual discourse.
